 “FAST TRACK ” PROGRAM
 We have designed a program to triage patients with
significant clinical or radiographic abnormalities. Examples
most common include but are not limited to:
- A suspicious solid palpable breast mass.
- Abnormal mammogram with stellate/spiculated mass.
- Abnormal mammogram with clustered micro calcifications.
The “Fast Track” allows the patient to be seen in consultation, obtain an image guided by breast biopsy and have a pathologic analysis and diagnosis within a few days. The same breast surgeon will follow the patient throughout the process.
Patients can participate in the “Fast Track” program if they are in need of an image guided biopsy performed in our office or outpatient surgical breast biopsy.
Many patients have appreciated the benefits of this approach and we are pleased we can offer the service.
