R. Thomas
Schmidt, M. D. attended Wabash College where he received his Bachelor of
Arts Degree. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1982 from Indiana
University and completed his post graduate internship and surgical training at
the University of Louisville affiliated hospitals. During this time, Dr. Schmidt
developed a strong interest in the treatment of breast disease. Due to his
desire for more extensive training, he completed a surgical breast oncology
fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He is board
certified through the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Schmidt and his wife have
four children. |

Sarah
Longmire-Cook, M.D. graduated from UCLA Medical School in 1986 where she has
been admitted to the AOA Honorary Medical Society, and where she was awarded the
Longmire Surgery Medal (named for her father, William P. Longmire, the first
Chairman of the Department of Surgery at UCLA). She is Board Certified by the
American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Longmire-Cook and her husband have two children. |
